This 3-valve compensating trumpet was made as a custom project for a customer from the shop. The design is based on a valve route from Besson euphoniums to correct intonation problems from combining certain valve combinations. One particularly tough challenge was getting enough length for the tapers in the bell and mouthpipe with the valve arrangement.
